About Bec

Bec completed the Writing Picture Books course with the Australian Writer's Centre in 2020 and has been writing ever since.

She is a member of the Australian Society of Authors and an active member of the online Kid Lit community.

Bec has worked in education and wellbeing for more than ten years. Here, one of her favourite roles was creating learning resources to help students grow in wellbeing. Her work flows into her stories and she writes with the aim to engage, encourage and promote growth mindsets.

Bec is now a full-time homeschooling mum. She still loves creating learning resources and sometimes, just for fun, she shares her resources here.

Bec lives in New England, NSW with her husband, five children, an assortment of animals and an abundance of green landscapes, fresh air and glorious sunshine.
