Create Positive Thoughts

With the right words we build our characters, create emotions and convey events in just the right way. But word choice shouldn’t be saved just for creative story writing. What about our internal dialogues? Here’s what I tell my students…

Negative thoughts can be overwhelming. Negative thoughts can make us feel tired, angry, anxious and all sorts of other bad feelings.

But negative thoughts can always be flipped around into positive thoughts. And the more you practice turning your negative thoughts into positive ones, the more positive you’ll feel!

Check out my resource page for a simple activity to help teach children the art of flipping thoughts from negative to positive.
